One of the most beautiful species I have photographed in the Eastern Himalayas. The male is even more beautiful. This has been photographed at an altitude of 12,400 feet, the highest point of the state of West Bengal, India. The bokeh effect is due to the small yellowish fruits on the coniferous forest which took the place of the background.

Shot with Nikon D500 + Nikon 300 mm f/2.8 ( VR-I ) Lens without a TC

1 / 160s

f/ 2.8

ISO 1000

At a focal length of 300 mm ( Cropped to some extent )

Thanks for all your valuable inputs and critics.

So the female doesn't get the red head.... she's still a little beauty. Biru.
