This is from Bombay Hook NWR.   One of my favorite subjects!   They love darting in and out of the brush along the side of the wildlife drive, and I found keeping my eyes ahead to spot them, then coming nearer with my beanbag on the car door until they decide to pop up again!   Canon 70d, 500mm
Thanks for your comments/critique...I appreciate it!

Sharon, love the pose on the arched perch. The light and detail are excellent. Great job!

Beautiful bird and perch, and such a lovely background. The light quality is magical. Superb image, Sharon!

Excellent color, light, and detail. A very pleasing composition with the curved perch.
