Mountain Bluebirds

A group of mostly Mountain Bluebirds gathered at a frozen stock watering tank just outside of Santa Fe. The water near the edge of the tank was thawed just enough for them to get a drink in a mostly dry area. There were a lot of American Robins hanging out there too.
This was taken in the '90s with an unrecorded camera, film and exposure. Scan was done many years ago on a flatbed scanner.

I have been twice in your are and one of the target birds second time was the Mountain Bluebird.
Amazing to see so many.
