Just home from Colombia leading a photo workshop. 

Prior to the trip I spent a few days in the highlands around Bogota where this guy was my #1 target.

This little hummer looks like a cross between a punk rocker and ZZ Top! Cool bird that I had not seen before.

Not knowing what a ZZ top is, I sort if get the rest which brought a smile... looks sort of unique.  Wonderful image and more so when viewed large Glenn

This is such a gorgeous bird, Glenn. I like how the bird’s bill mimics the point of the perch. Excellent shot.

Amazing shot! Look at those looong wings. I like how the perch echos the sweep of the wings. Great to see this exotic and impressive bird so beautifully presented.
