Shot Mar-2017 in early morning light. This is a classic habitat view owl cruising just above the grass like a giant moth. Very nice to witness that. I will never get tired of that.
1D Mark IV, EF 300mm f/2.8L USm NON-IS + 2.0TC II
1/3200, f/7.1, handheld.

Ludo, I love the dramatic lighting – the back-lit owl is set off beautifully against the dark background. The hint of habitat in the lower frame is a wonderful finishing touch. Fantastic image!
