Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas August 17. 2018.

Nikon D850, 300mm f/2.8 lens, 1.4 TC, 1/2500 sec at f/8.0, ISO 400.

I think Turkey Vultures should get more respect.  They do a great service in the animal world.

I agree on the important service vultures perform, Gene. Nice flight shot and good view of the underside.

Very nice overhead shot Gene! Nicely exposed image. You are 100% correct about vultures importance. My favorite is California Condor (very few in the wild)

Excellent shot. They are especially magnificent when soaring-so graceful. We would be hard put to clean up carrion without them.
