When you're white and hunted for the stew pot, and reside on a brown Tundra, you'd better be very good at finding camouflage and standing very still for long periods of time.

Sandy, Good presentation of natural camouflage. I lived north of the Arctic Circle for nine months, and I can tell you that Ptarmigans can be hard to see.
