Great-horned Owls

Shot yesterday. Since last fall I have not seen Great-horned Owls.
Few days ago I discovered them again. This time, mommy showed up with 3 fledglings. Last year there were only two.
D4, 200-500mm f/5.5
1/1250, ISO-1800, f/5.6 @500mm, handheld, VR-on

Nice setting for these youngsters. I like that the one is looking out of the frame while the other is making great eye contact!

Great find and a nice look at these guys. Perch and BG look nice too. Looks like it would benefit from a few points of black added or a bump in contrast. Well done
