A fantastic image, Jake. The higher camera angle works perfectly to show the Heron in its breeding habitat. And the detail and depth of field are excellent. Must be seen in large view! Congrats on this beauty!

This perspective is excellent. Love top views showing this type of colour and feather detail.
The bird just pops from the BG and the "weedy" water is just perfect.
Very compelling image!
