Love the snowy setting and those massive talons. More room all around the bird, but particularly below the bird may help with the sense of the attack? Of course i like the close up too, but if you have more room you may want to experiment. Cheers

You are right regarding the space all around, particularly below.  Unfortunately, this is full frame.   

I like the impact of the close presence of the bald eagle in the picture and I feel so lucky not to have clipped anything on the bird on this shot that I decided to leave it as is.  I could of course add some canvas below and I will give it a try on my computer.
