This guy seems to be having a crush on one of the Mallard Ladies.
He follows her everywhere, posing for her and chasing the Mallard boys away.

The light angle is perfect and has given this image great color and details. Love the pose and water color.
I would contemplate removing the lower catch light to polish this nice frame up. Well done Karl

One of the best Wood duck shots I've seen. They are mostly to contrasty for me, but this one is bathed in warm light giving it really nice colors. Excellent
