My best friend is a Nikon guy and I used his D5 this summer while shooting peregrines in flight. I almost threw my Canon stuff off the cliff!!
I was so blown away at how much better the autofocus on the D5 was that I almost sold all my stuff, I was headed to the dark side ;)
I had Doug and Arash try the rig and they are both hard core Canon guys and they both saw the big difference in how well it locks on and stays locked on. Whatever Nikon did, it really works for our type of shooting.
The shot looks fantastic and I love the pose and killer details, especially for such a small fast bird. Well done
