Anytime spent on the water is a good time in my books. I love getting out and photographing Seabirds and on my last trip we ran into a mess of Buller's Shearwaters. They weren't coming right in for chum as they were intimidated by the larger albatross but were circling the boat quite frequently. It was pretty lumpy out in the south pacific that day which made shooting more challenging but i was glad to add a few of this species to my files.

Nice topside flight shot. Having been on a few pelagic trips I can appreciate the challenges. Trying to hold on to the boat and shoot flying birds with a long lens is a true test of your ability (I call it luck).

The topside view and relatively low POV really look stunning. Pelagic bird photography has recently become one of my favorite types of shooting, and I would be very proud to have this!

Nice flare shot and eye contact. That blue water looks very inviting. :)

Sweet. Pelagic birds are so tough to capture well and you did really nicely here. Very easy to see the classic "M" pattern across the back. I also really like the wave in foreground as it adds nice depth to the shot.
