This moose cow had just given birth to her calf on the road to Jackson Lake Lodge in the Grand Teton NP. The calf was almost entirely hidden from clear view.

She is definitely not going to win any beauty contest! Maybe the baby was too 'embarrased' to be seen with her looking this way! It does look like the whole image needs to be darkened up a bit.

Her hair looks about as bad as mine today, and she probably cares about as much as I do too! She might not stand out as much if she were a bit darker. At least she probably has a cute baby.
