Hey Dick, we both had the same thought!! I just got through typing my post and here's your Bear too!! :)

Great shot and really shows the eyes well - not easy in Bears. Good detail in the fur too.

Nice detail in the fur and the expression is great. I wish its left eye was more visible and there was more DOF for the nose.

I wish I could see more of the left eye, too, but it doesn't bother me due to the head and action position. If you're looking for the left eye, you're missing the shot, so I'm not sure that would be dispositive in this situation.

Beautiful animal and a nice photo. Its just a bit on the dark side losing a little bit of fur detail.

Great portrait. I wish there was more light and detail on the bear's left, but still would be proud to have it as mine.
