Whitetail Deer Odocoileus virginianus
Shenandoah National Park 10D, 100-300 f4.5-5.6, ISO400, f5.6, 1/45, tripod cropped from vertical Another buck from the Big Meadows area. He was content to stay with his does inside the edge of the woods and only came out to chase off rival bucks. I'm not crazy about the branches on the left side, but he didn't want to cooperate and come into the open. Do the branches pose to large of a distraction? Comments/critiques/suggestions welcomed. Thanks for looking. Chris Earle
