Hello, everyone. I took this shot this morning on the hill behind our house. This youngster was with 2 adult does, who kept more to the trees and tall sage than this one. She/he came out to investigate me, staying in the open for a minute or so until losing its curiosity.
These deer come down to our hillside every winter, and as the winter goes on they become more accustomed to our presence, so I'm hoping for more and better shots to come. 10D, 100-400 at 340mm, handheld, IS on. ISO 200, 1/510 sec. at f/8. I'm having trouble with my glasses today, and I can't tell if I've oversharpened this or not. Anyway, thanks for looking. Tom
