Beautiful, simple situation and composition. I agree more DOF would be good, especially to get those hands completely sharp. Going to ISO 200, if needed, wouldn't have cost anything.

Beautifully done. The texture in with wood, with the big crack at the bottom of the opening, makes a very nice frame. Great pose, too.

Thanks for your kind words. Yep, he's my avatar... he's grossly overfed I find. As one mentionned, butterball yep...

I have another shot which really shows us how fat they can get when well fed. Might post it as another "cute" pic sometime later.
