 There are three species in this family and I have photographed two of the three. In Ambon I found these decoras on a shore dive in front of the Ambon Dive Center at only 40' and they were happily approachable with a patient approach. I was looking through some old slides and thinking about how beautiful Ambon Is. was back before it fell into chaos and violence a few years ago. I have been back to the Moluccas once since then on a liveaboard boat but Ambon is still closed to tourists. Nikon 8008s, Tussey 8008 housing, Nikkor 105 f2.8 AF Micro Nikkkor lens, two Nikon SB-103 strobes on TTL. Scanned from Fuji Velvia 35mm slide with Nikon LS-2000. |
