Gray Wolf at Triple D this January; Canon 1D, 100-400 at 170mm, 1/250 sec at f5.6, manual exposure with compensation

Looks like a lighter haired version of that coyote we saw at Bosque! :)

I think for web presentation this would benefit from a fine dark border to prevent the snow from escaping into the page, but you certainly nailed the action! 8) 8) 8) :)

Hey John,

Way to time the shot!

If you wish to add a very thin border around the image. Use the eyedropper to select a color then Ctrl A > Edit >Stroke Width 2 pixels. > Enter/OK

I rally like the behavior here - a very nice shot. I would prefer it with 1/3 less exposure to keep a bit more detail in the snow.
