Cute, or just a natural born killer?

Everyone who sees a big cat cub always says AHH, but hidden under that cute, cuddly exterior is a 'killing machine' and a built in look after number one mode.

We had been photographing this pride 30 minutes prior, when the females suddenly disappeared and subsequently took down an Impala, then the cubs were off, it's feeding time... Very little was left of the carcass, only the steaming green vegetation the Impala had consumed, the rest had been devoured by the pride. The pride then split, with the cubs finishing off remnants and playing with the bones. Here even at this early stage, you can see the retractable claws put into good use, surgically sharp, and a grip like crampons.
