Bob, It looks really cold. Excellent image. It must have been exiting to be that close to a wild Polar Bear.

Yes, we went to bed drifting with the pack ice and when we woke up there was a Polar Bear on the ice right next to our ship. He swam around looking for seals on other pieces of ice, but for a while kept coming back to us. It was a good thing because it was really foggy all around us. Everyone was really excited.

Good behavioral shot. Gives us a look at the challenging life he has to deal with, especially now.

The dripping water and one leg in the water tells the story perfectly, Bob. Must have been exciting.

Oh wow I love this! Wonderful pose and timing, and I love having that bit of aqua color in the submerged ice to give it a pop. I'd have been pretty excited to get this too.

Love this one Bob, my favourite of your bear images from this trip, so far. Wonderful shot!

Just superb Bob, love the dripping coat, low POV and look to camera, nicely processed also.

Really cool shot and tells a great story. Just a bit muddy, setting a slightly brighter white point would take this to the next level.
