Lechwe are found in marshy areas where they eat aquatic plants and use the knee-deep water as protection from predators.  They are therefore difficult to approach and they tend to flee away from you once you get close enough to photograph.  It was a treat therefore to be able to photograph these females in the beautiful long grass of the Okavango Delta, Botswana
