Bit of a different image as wanted a wider view and very much in test mode on the D850 with the Sigma 150-600.  On an aside, been watching these two for a bit  and I could not help feel they are related, aka mother and daughter although the daughter not being last years birth.  (Mother  tends to be more protective on the young, but here, whilst being overly cautious would let the smaller, lead hind dictate their pace and direction, despite keeping a very watchful eye on what's going on).

Techs were D850.  Sigma Sport 150-600 at 250mm.  F8  Iso 1000.

Please feel free to click on the image

Super light and detail, Dave. Also, the composition is excellent – love how the deer are looking across and through the majority of the frame, and how the deer are framed with the tree branches above.

Beautiful content, composition and light! Can't fault this one at all, Dave, and just gorgeous when clicked on for the uncompressed view. Superb!

What a nice shot with awesome light and very nice details with superb colors.
D850 is impressive. I used to shoot with SIGMA 150-600mm Sport...very good lens.
