The first rains of the season had just fallen, (evidenced by his wet coat) and the air was full of new smells as this young male leopard was finding out.
Putting my off-road permit to use we tracked this boy for over 90mins trying to get the upper hand on a small herd of impala, without luck on this evening I'm afraid. Ruaha Nat Park- Tanzania. Nikon D5 Nikkor 400 f/2.8E FL VR f/4 1/800s ISO 3200. Cheers Marc |
