My very favorite monkey of Costa Rica, a bioindicator of the health of the forest, always great to find them and getting to know that is a healthy forest.

Canon 5D Mark III + Canon 500mm f4 + Canon 1.4X III TC.

ISO 800
f5.6
1/400 Sec.

Sharp and good catchlight in the eyes... probably not easy to photograph in the dense vegetation. Very well executed Jeff.

Anything that helps us to maintain the health of our wild places gets my vote Jeff! Again you have managed to neatly pick this agile species out from their tree canopy habitat in this fine and well detailed image. Lovely expressive face and bright eyes. Well done!

Absolutely gorgeous shot -- to my eye, it looks just a trifle oversharpened.

Thanks so much Gary, it is amazing how sharp this Canon 500mm f4 II can be, specially with good light. Have a great evening!!!
