Seems to be a bit soft, most likely from motion. I would have definately increased the ISO to at leadt 400, it's perfectly fine at that level on the 10D. Was that the widest aperture for that lens?

Hi Katy. With the combination of ISO 400 and a wider aperture, you could have had a much higher shutter speed. Nice shot anyways, try to remember to check the shutter speed next time you shoot him :D .

Maybe higher iso for shutter speed but opening up likely would have created DOF problems... Great subject

Dave, This wonderful character was shot at Colchester Zoo.
As a matter of fact we are preparing to go there this morning,
ideal conditions today for walking around!
