San Miguel Island series-Jumping Dolphins- Joy & frustra

The joy was seeing several hundred dolphins coming towards our boat and playing in the bow wave. The frustration was using a G5 with its too slow shutter lag. There were pods of 20 to 30 which would jump together. I never caught the jump with this camera and my other camera, which was little used in the trip, was inside a waterproof pelican case. C'est la Vie.
By the use of Photo shop, the water color looks more like the Carribean than the California off shore. This was the best I got. Next trip, the big gun will be ready.
