I'd like you all to meet Geoff. He's a very nice chap, laid back and easy going. Named after one of the guides in camp for those reasons and some others I can't go into just yet

We had the great fortune to be able to spend some time with Geoff and one of his friends. I'll be putting together a Photo Essay on the day we spent with them very soon. Just gotta finish processing all these darned pictures.....

Comments welcome and thanks for looking

An excellent shot - the tongue really adds a lot!

Love the tongue and hair, as mentioned, but the scars on the nose make the shot for me. Guy's got some character & seen some battles! Would I be off if I guessed that his friend is female? :)

I also find the scars on the lion's nose really appealing. A good character shot of the lion. Looks like he has done a few battles in his day. Nice one!

Excellent portrait. Almost looks like a punker with that hairdo.

We were able to observe Geoff and his brother Lawrence on many occasions during our time in Zambia, both by day and night. He is a fascinating character and it was a joy to be able to see into his world and record just a small part of his life. 8)

Hi Dave, this is a superb portrait. I have enjoyed looking at your other posts from your recent trip as well.
