Clamming Bears

These bears were “user friendly” as our guide put it, so we got out of the boat onto the beach. I wanted to get a shot showing the abundance of clams on the beach and the clean water behind the bears. Kneeling or lying down in front of bears is not usually recommended but I gave it a go anyway.

Canon EOS3, Provia 100F pushed to 200, 100-400 IS @ 400, 1/250, f8.0

Very nice. To make this one get even better, some slight warming to get rid of the slight blue cast would be great.

Certainly a slight warming called for here as the blue cast detracts from this fine behaviour shot. 8) 8) :)
