I'd agree with Paul, the bear in the Y of the tree is really cool but the bright patch overwhelms it somewhat.

Dan, Great subject and a nice pose. Did you do something to tone down the bright spots? Looks a bit unnatural and as others said overpowering.

It looks like you were shooting up and into the light Dan, not easy with a dark subject like this. There is a fair amoung of grain too on my monitor. :?
