I spent a couple days in Custer State Park, S.D. over the labor day weekend. There were a number of very large bison bulls around. The weather was really rainy until Monday, so this was in very cloudy conditions. So the question in this image is the tree, should it stay or go?

Thanks for looking and your comments!

A contortionist! Looks like this big boy has a serious use for the horn. The position is hilarious.

I think you're stuck with the tree. Cropping it out would leave you too little room on the right. Cloning it out would leave the viewer wondering where those dried pine needles came from. As it stands, it's but a small distraction.

Excellent exposure and great pose-looks a bit uncomfortable to me.

Excellent shot of an unusual pose.
FWIW, I'm with Rich, the tree stays...

He has really worked out how to scratch that itch! Excellent pose Bob and a fine shot. The tree gives a sense of scale for me so another vote for it to stay! 8) 8) 8) 8) :)

A well captured unusual pose. I really like the muscle detail in the flank.
