This Gelada Baboon was a real treat to photograph. I just sat still between the Gelada and the cliff ledge they climb down to during nights. Not at all disturbed by my presence she continued feeding and "talking" to her troop mates. A truly inspiring experience!

Good image - as Dave pointed out the red eye adds a lot. If I was going to nit pick anything I find the dark and light areas in the background slightly distracting and if the head was turned just a fraction more so that both eyes were in the light ?

Beautiful portrait. I really like the lighting and the look back over the shoulder.

Very nice. Like the others, it's the over-the-shoulder look and those eyes, all with great light. Sounds like a wonderful experience.

Tobias, the over the shoulder look works very well. Especially, with those colorful and captivating eyes.
