Foxes are fairly easy to see in this urban park on the outskirts of the Denver area. I had already taken several images of this guy when he trotted over to this downed tree and hopped up for rest. He watched me as I moved slowly onto position and took several more images. He wasn't bothered by me at all but did trot off when other folks stopped to see what I was shooting.

All comments greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well done, I can just seem enough light in the eyes to give some life. This guys looks tired, Exposure looks good, still a little detail in the snow but the whites are white. I hope to some day get to Prospect to give this a go.. Thanks for sharing in FFM, very neat fox image in the snow!

Nicely done. The downed tree provides a nice setting with the white snow contrasting with the red fox. (Did you pay the standard modeling fee? ;) ) If this is full-frame, would crop from the bottom to remove the part of the log; if it's not full-frame, I would be tempted to include a bit more so we could see what he's laying on.

Very cool shot. He does look tired. Colors look good. I think it would also look good as a pano with some cropped off the top and bottom.

I am loving all these recent fox shots in this gallery. I really like the inclusion of the snow and the thicker looking coat here. After scrolling up and down I kind of like Cheryl's crop suggestion as well. Very nice as is.

Nice fox image. White snow with detail and a spot on image of the fox.

Very nice shot Alan. I especially like the fact that you got your initial in the shot :D

Nice portrait with excellent detail and exposure. I like his squint at the lens.

This is outstanding. To give the image more punch I would lock down the brights and the darks and boost contrast in the middle 80% of the image.
