I was out this morning still looking for decent water lilies to shoot. Didn't find any, but did find this little guy sitting on one of the pads. I was kind of surprised that he wasn't bothered by my presence and was nice enough to allow me to switch from my macro lens to my 300mm so that I could get some better shots of him. :D
Canon D60, EF 300mm f4.0L, ISO 100, f9.5, 1/90 sec, early morning light, tripod mounted. I tried some lower angle shots (laying on my belly at eye level but I liked this one a bit better.

I might just take a little off the left side to place Froggy more off centre here Linda, but I like the green on green, the alert eye contact and the way you have got him/her half in and out of the shade. Nice one! 8) 8) 8) :)

Linda, Great spotting and a marvelous shot!!! Agree with Carol to trim the left. I'd get rid of the red stem entirely. An adorable creature!!! :D :D

Excellent, Linda. I'm not sure I would trim much off, I like the feel of the habitant that you have.

Very nice habitat shot. I too would crop to just past the stem.

Nicely done Linda. Its great to see some amphibians since we mostly have furry critters posted here. I like the colors. This image looks fine as you presented it, with more habitat, or cropped to get more frog per pixel.

I think this must have been a prince charming waiting for your kiss since it was so patient.
