Captive
EOS 10D, 500F4L IS, 1.4xTCII, 1/250, F5.6, Ev-1, ISO 400, 550EX @ -2/3

Well here's one of the little guys from our leopard shoot last week. He's about five weeks old.
He had been stalking his dad in the late evening and popped his head up above the grass to see what daddy was up to.
That's mum in the BG.

Off the cute scale! Even at this young age the intensity in the eyes is very apparent. No doubt any mouse or fly would be pounced upon! Very nice portait. The splash of green is a nice touch. 8)

I love this picture!!

These little cubs were in either constant motion, rolling about, climbing up anything-including mother or play fighting, or they disappeared into the den out of sight for frequent naps! We waited hours for photo opportunities and to get an image this good was not easy!!
