While hiking along a small stream I happened upon this frog along the bank. No matter what I did he wouldn't let me get near for a shot. Walking back to the road along the same bank, I spotted him perched on a rock. To my surprise, he let me get into a decent position about 6 feet away. The color version wasn't doing much for me, as the light was rather bland, but I liked it in b/w. All comments welcome, thanks! Oh, and if anyone knows the species please let me know, thanks.

I'm not normally a fan of B&W for wildlife images, preferring to see their colours. This shot does work well however, perhaps due to the marked patterns on the frog. This is also a difficult angle, but in this instance gives the impression of peeping into his world, so works!! 8) 8) :)

I like it in B&W. It looks like a leopard frog to me.
