Jellyfish - Aquarium of the Smokies, Gatlinburg, Tennessee
EOS 1D2, 24-70 @ 40mm, 1/60, f/3.5, ISO 500

Thought I'd change it up a bit after all of the large mammals that have been dominating the Wildlife forum lately. I am always fascinated by Jellyfish. I had a couple of hours to kill before my flight home so I stopped off at the Aquarium of the Smokies. This is one of the abyssal species that live in very deep waters.

I am very impressed by the lack of noise at ISO 500 in blue, a color that is normally very prone to noise.

This is really AWESOME. The composition is perfect and it is wonderful how you have so much detail and color here. Great image EJ. Instead of calling you "Duck man" I think we should change it to "Mr. Multitalented"!!

You are a man for all seasons aren't you! Or should I say MT.

Neat shot, but seems a little too hyper-colored.

I actually desaturated this - its due to the lighting used to make these nearly invisible creatures show up on display.
