Nice to see you posting in Wildlife Linda and good to see some native species! :) This is about as close as I would want to get to one of these beauties and my only nit is that I find the detail in the BG a little distracting from the main subject. If you were able to blur the BG more I think it would give the image much more impact. I look forward to more from you. :)

Cool shot Linda, love that pose - ready to strike :shock:

Maybe another shot of USM as the head appears a little soft. Oh and some techs on the shot would nice :)

Nice shot.. always enjoy seeing reptiles. I like the comp here, with the coils in the lower left and the head forming a diagonal going to the upper right.. Concur on the background blur.. Thanks for posting..
