Now a hyena has made his way to the breakfast table. On my first trip to Africa I asked my guide why there weren't many carcasses or even scattered bones around on the ground. Imagine how many animals fall prey to the predators. Well, his response was that in time, every part of the animals get consumed...even the bones. The hyenas have teeth and jaws strong enough to crunch the last tidbits.
