I am not sure how many are keeping up with the series, but now itis possible to see some differences between the islands. The Lava Lizards, of which I have shown three islands, have distinctive differences and differences are interesting

You had an incredible trip to see so many fascinating and related species. I just looked at the other images---they are all fascinating and interesting. The sharpening on this one appears more natural (the others seem to have been edge-sharpened which gives a scaley look to the rocks and which amplifies the softer parts that are oof. Whatever the technique, it works in places but not quite so well in others. If I had made this image, I would consider selectively sharpening the head and eye a bit more.

Excellent series. This one is my favorite to far. I love the colors and the diagonal of the lizard in the frame.

Must be a very difficult place to photograph Steve, the BG's are a real challenge! nice little lizard, shows the markings well. Just a little soft in the head (not that I know it personally you understand!) 8)
