Taken this afternoon at Priory park, Reigate, Surrey, UK:

Canon 300D, 75-300 USM III lens @ 300MM, F5.6, 1/125 second, ISO 400, handheld (leaning against a tree for support), 550EX flash in fill flash mode, -1 stop. Developed in C1: shade WB, some saturation. PS - Levels, frame, sharpened.

Nice brown tone overall. These little guys strike up the nicest poses, especially the way they use their little hands. I like the way the texture and color in the tail draws us to its head. Very pretty.

Cute pose. The U shape and the texture in the branch are nice environmental elements. The squirrel looks just a touch soft compared to the bark. Perhaps a bit more USM.

Very nice image Andy. In addition to what has been said about the u shaped branch anchoring and framing the subject, I like that the tail is right up behind.. Thanks for posting in Wildlife.
