April actually. This female in Bandhavgarh had led her cubs into the shelter of some rocks by a stream. She slept at the 'entrance' to these rocks and would occasionally open an eye to watch us.
This is my last post for a month. I am headed to the North-East of India after the rhino, and then to the West after the Asiatic lion, and then down South after the elephant. Oh, and I hope to capture four species of primates, the Asiatic water buffalo, and two species of deer. Comments and critiques welcome. Thanks for looking. Apana |
