Well with all of these big cats hanging around this week, I thought I'd better post a big moose so he had a fighting chance... :roll:
Getting this image was vastly more challenging than my typical moose shot. I hiked into a remote valley that is open to hunting since I knew there were usually several very nice bulls in the area. Luckily I found this one around mid day when he got up to move. He laid down after I started to stalk him so I almost walked past him. After he got up to check out the sound of my shutter releasing, he looked at me of a minute, then headed off in a run. By the time I got back to my car, it was a 12 hour day, with only about 10 minutes of it actually taking pictures of this guy. Tim
