The perspective is what amazes me here. Not only were you close but below the tiger - looks like he could jump right down on you.

great look..I too like the vantage point you got here Carol. the looking down pose is striking. wonderful details throughout. I aslo like it with a small crop from the bottom (to remove line of straight edge rock and paw) making it just a head and shoulders shot. well done.

Great shot Carol. The lower shooting angle is wonderful and helps emphasize the majestic appearance of this animal. Thanks for sharing. I too never tire of shooting the cats-big or small.

Beautiful shot, Carol. The perspective really adds to the photo. Its a bit tight by the left ear.

Is this cropped significantly? There's more digital artifacts/pixelation than in your other posts.

Nice work Carol.. Excellent use of natural light and even the dark side has enough light to make the picture successful. Must have been looking at something reflective, because there is even a catch light in the right eye. I like the upward angle, gives a sense of power.. Thanks for posting..

Thanks Tim, no this isn't much of a crop, pretty much full frame but I did clone out a branch behind him and if you're seeing things then maybe I didn't do it too well!! :?

What a gorgeous animal! Nicely captured!

Did you blur the background any digitally? I ask because the edge of his ear on the left seems a trifle odd.

Edit: I see now from reading the thread that you did some cloning.
