Not the best light, and a bit busy in the vegetation dept. but I'll take it.
I'd love more light on the eyes...

When I first got my 10D I headed to the local bird sanctuary to test it out on ducks, geese, and unsuspecting chickadees. Before I had my gear out,
while walking along the path, something made me look to my left, and here was this guy. I slowly removed my backpack, got out my camera, took a few "record" shots. Then I calmed down, mounted my gear to my monopod, and got quite a few more shots before he walked off into the bush.

Lovely Steve. Pin sharp and well composed. Could do without the twig in it's eye but hey I'd be happy with it as is. Congrats.

Great rack, great sharpness, love the detail throughout the buck. You could easily burn in the "twig in the eye" a bit if it's a bother.

Steve, you did a fine job handling the tricky lighting. This is tack sharp and well exposed. I would crop slightly to reduce the negative space overhead and draw more attention to the rack.

Well done.

That rack is unbelievable, wow! I'd go for a crop on this photo, or leave as is for text. 8)
