Looking north from Pescadero State Beach, CA
Canon 10D, EF28-135IS@135, ISO100, f/10, 1/20s

Was shooting the relatively impressive surf which has been built up by an offshore low pressure system, when I looked behind me...
I post this here in EHK since you can see parts of HWY1 which follows the coast just above the cliffs.

Please hammer on! Any form of honest critique is warmly appreciated. Reposts welcome.

Thanks for looing,

Anders

Well composed with many nice layers. I might do some work in levels and curves to open up the blacks in the rocks that are blocked and put just a bit more punch to the image.

This is nice Anders, do you have any with more of the highway leading off into the image?

Robert,

Sorry no more road shots... (I try to avoid it entirely whenever I can)

Harvey,

Here I actually purposly darkened the rocks a bit from the original capture... Partly to get more punch in the picture, and partly just to use the full dynamic range better. I believe they are not technically 'blocked' (unlike in my current landscape post, where this comment is 100% corrent - don't know what I was thinking) but I understand you'd like them a bit brighter... Is that the general opinion, for this shot?

Thanks for your comments! I really appreciate them!!

Anders
