summit of new york state's tallest mt.(MT.Marcy 5,444'). FG is a traditional summit trail marker. There are bits of blue on the edges because it actually was a nice day everywhere else in the park.

That Pencam reminds me of some simple all-plastic point and shoot cameras that are in the $10-$15 range. An interesting effect - somewhat photojournalistic and dream-like.

I wish they just kept the piles... now they are painting the rocks with yellow paint to show the way where there are no trees for trailmarkers.

If you look at my last post "walk the plank", you can see a hideous example of this on a rock in the center. Its a little unsettling that they do this.
