This is Munising's own Scott Mitchell, our guide, on the recent trip to the Michigan UP. The bright red jacket works almost like camo at this time of year!

Great fall colors, Steve...I think the 50/50 comp works quite well here.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

Steve, that is actually my friend Mark Burns from Oshkosh who met up with us in the UP.

Nice shot.

Ahh I stand corrected. You are absolutely right. Please thank Mark for wearing the red jacket. This was shot while standing on a log in the water. The same spot as Ken's http://www.naturescapes.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=4098

Beautiful fall colors and reflections. I like the inclusion of the man in the photo. You are right about the bright colored jacket almost being a camoflage.

Steve, I was flattered to be included in your image but after I read the text, I studied the image and realized it wasn't me. My red jacket doesn't say WISCONSIN on it. Mine would say SPARTANS if it was green :D Halfmoon Lake is one of our favorite areas. I really enjoy showing folks around to some of the out-of-the-way places here. May look at doing the tour thing as part of our photo biz here.
