Lake koenigs see (Kings lake) is a very beautiful place in Berchetsgaden land national park, Germany. On one side there is mt. Jenner and on the other Mt. Watzmann. This is a view of a St. Bartholomä with Mt. Watzmann at the backside. Hope you like it.

Looks like an awesome place. It's just a hair overexposed along the left and a little soft but it certainly conveys the beauty of this place

Cool building. I agree it is a bit hot on the left.

Aside from the slightly hot building, I love the mountains....

I was in Berchetsgaden while in HS back in the late 1970's..I remember that place with a passion, as I was blown away by the scenery....I also remember a fierce lightning storm the second night we stayed there.

Though my trip was MANY years ago, I still remember the place well...Thanks for bringing back some great memories of a great place.

Cheers,
